Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

King of Stone (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Data we collect

  • Details you give us in the quote form, by phone, email or WhatsApp: name, phone, email, postcode, property details, messages and photos.
  • Technical information such as the page you submitted from and campaign source (UTM) parameters.
  • With your consent only, analytics and marketing cookie data (see our cookie policy).

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, carry out and administer work, and — where you consent — to understand how our website performs. Our lawful bases are your consent, steps prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use trusted service providers (such as website hosting and secure database storage) who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

Retention

Enquiries that do not proceed are deleted within 24 months. Customer records are kept for as long as needed for legal, accounting and warranty purposes.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@kingofstone.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
